Pride Month is a reminder of resilience, strength and solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community. This past month, Sirva has worked to honor the communities we serve with the help of our Sirva Out Loud (SOL) Employee Resource Group, dedicating time to elevating the voices of our employees, helping create more inclusive and equitable relocation programs, and reaching out to the communities where we proudly live and serve.

SOL’s mission is to create a safe and supportive space for LGBTQIA+ Sirva team members and their allies to thrive and be celebrated so that we can provide advocacy for equity and an inclusive experience in all settings.

Sirva’s ERGs are employee-led, self-directed voluntary groups that offer opportunities to network internally, attract a diverse employee base, provide the inclusion of ideas and solutions, and create opportunities for mentoring and career development.

Sirva Pride Month Events

Sirva is proud to have sponsored pride events in Fort Wayne, Indiana (US) and Plymouth (UK). At the Fort Wayne, Indiana pride event, Sirva served as an event sponsor, and Sirva served as a Pride Community Ally sponsor of the Plymouth pride event.

Two of our employees, Emma Dodwell-Groves and Paul Albon, represented Sirva at the OutBritain OutConnect Business Summit in London as part of the celebration of Pride Month. OutConnect 2024 is a business conference focused on creating a more inclusive, successful, and diversified future for the business world.

This event included guest speakers, trailblazers from the LGBTQIA+ business community, Procurement and Supply Chain leaders, and a Grammy winning artist MNEK. It was a day filled with connection, and empowerment, designed for trailblazing LGBTQIA+ organizations and forward-thinking corporates committed to supplier diversity.
