John O’Connell
Executive Vice President, Global Account Management and Supply Chain
As Executive Vice President, Global Account Management and Supply Chain, John is a multi-lingual senior leader with 25 years of experience in mobility. He is responsible for leading Sirva’s global account management teams, ensuring a strong focus on retaining and growing existing client relationships. In addition, he leads Sirva’s supply chain practice, with a focus on delivering superior supplier performance and value. Since joining Sirva in 2011, John has been invaluable in his leadership and contribution to our global operational excellence and growth.
John began his career with a research and consulting firm, where he led an operational team, directed business development activities in Asia and Latin America, and sourced and managed a variety of suppliers throughout the world. Prior to joining Sirva, John served in various global leadership roles encompassing operations, account management and supply chain with two other large relocation management companies.
John holds a Master of Business Administration Degree in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. He earned his undergraduate degree in Spanish with a minor in International Business from DePauw University. He is fluent in Spanish and possesses a basic knowledge of French.
